Estimate comparison

Line up the carrier estimate against yours and surface the variance, so you can build a documented case for a fair settlement, and reconcile the money as it comes in.

Carrier vs. PAVariance surfacedReconciled ledger

Make the gap impossible to ignore

Put the carrier estimate beside your estimate with the variance shown as a single figure. Keep line items with each estimate so you can point to exactly where the numbers diverge.

  • Latest carrier estimate vs. latest public adjuster estimate.
  • Variance computed and shown clearly.
  • Line items retained for the supporting detail.

Reconcile the money, by category

The claim’s financial ledger tracks payments, supplements, expenses, and your fee in separate, reconciled categories, never one conflated number, so your accounting and your client conversation both stay clean.

  • Gross payments, supplements, expenses, and fees kept separate.
  • A running picture of where the claim stands financially.
  • Outcome captured at close for your own benchmarking.

Supplements and outcomes, tracked

A claim rarely settles in one payment. Record each supplement and payment as it arrives, tie it to the estimate it supports, and capture the final outcome, so you always know where a claim really stands.

  • Log supplements and payments against the right estimate.
  • See carrier first offer vs. final settlement.
  • Build a record you can learn from across claims.

Common questions

How is the variance calculated?

It compares the latest carrier estimate against the latest public adjuster estimate on the claim and shows the difference as a single, clear figure, with line items retained for the detail.

Can I track supplements and payments?

Yes. The claim’s financial ledger records payments, supplements, expenses, and your fee in separate categories, so nothing is conflated into one misleading number.

Does it pull line items from a PDF automatically?

Not yet. Today you enter estimates and compare them. Automatic line-item extraction and matching arrive with the AI phase and are marked as not yet available.

Why keep categories separate instead of one net figure?

Because gross settlement, net to the policyholder, and your fee are different things. Keeping them separate keeps your accounting clean and your client conversation honest.

Is this an appraisal tool?

No. It organises and compares estimates and tracks the money. It is not an appraisal or a guarantee of outcome.
